Professor of Internet Studies at the Oxford Internet Institute, William Dutton talks to George Freeman, Member of Parliament for the Mid Norfolk region and Life Science advisor about how Genomic medicine is at the forefront of science. They also discuss the potential issue of the public not understanding the science behind it and its application. Director of Voices from Oxford, Dr Sung Hee Kim continues the interview as she talks to George about the the Government’s policy on the the privacy of genomic data and how the world of genomic medicine is rapidly changing with advancements in different areas of science.
