Prof Ngaire Woods, Dean of the Blavatnik School of Government at the University of Oxford talks with Prof Denis Noble. They discuss the creation of the new school, and its emphasis on transparency and openness, which permeates throughout its architectural design, in contrast to the traditional Oxford colleges. They also talk about the processes of globalisation and how large corporations relate to governments and vice-versa, as well as the increasing economic and political power of East Asian countries such as China.
