Anna Sehnalova from Wolfson College, and Rachael Griffiths from St Hilda’s College, have created the Oral History of Tibet Project at the University of Oxford. The Project seeks to interview distinguished scholars and academics on the subject of Tibet, and to offer these videos for viewing to fellow academics and the general public. The Project hopes to increase understanding of the region and be made available for future generations. Tibet Studies is a relatively new discipline, having only developed in the 1960s, meaning many of the original scholars are still alive today to give their stories and experiences of its foundation.
