Prof David Vines
Professor of Economics at Balliol College

David Vines is Professor of Economics at Oxford University and is Director of the Centre for International Macroeconomics. He also holds a professorship at the Australian National University. He is a member of the Academic panel of the British Treasury (the finance ministry).


At Cambridge, he worked with Nobel Prize-winning economist, James Meade, who was deeply influenced by John Maynard Keynes.
